Operating with an eco-conscious attitude, means we actively recycle, reuse & reduce throughout our business where possible,to minimise our impact on the planet.
So we actively discourage single use packaging, for orders, and we recycle and reuse in-stream packaging as much as we can. The team here have the planet and its resources at the forefront of all activity.
Our most common embroidery thread colours have been switched to Madeira Polyneon Green- sustainable threads made from 100% recycled polyester.
No more plastic carrier bags for client orders! We use recycled brown paper kraft handle bags.
Empty embroidery thread cones are distributed to local nurseries and schools for creative play and art projects.
Waste garments are cut up and used for sampling embroidery designs which you get as part of the proofing process, or recycled as rags.
Redundant and end of line garment stock is offered at discounted prices to customers, and also donated to local charities.
Our efforts to support both local Kent and other British-based suppliers means we limit "product miles" where possible.
Of course, there's always more we can do, and so we continue to explore more sustainable choices for our business and for our clients.
