screen PRINTING

Screen printing is a traditional printing method in which a screen is made for each individual colour that makes up the design. Using graphic software, each colour is separated out in your design, and then a screen is made per colour. Each screen acts as a stencil for each colour and ink is pushed through the screen onto the garment to create the print.

Most suitable for large quantity orders with fewer colour as it's labour intensive nature and screens required for each colour means the set up is not suitable for small runs.

BENEFITS OF SCREEN PRINTING

Perfect print method for large orders, unique products, prints requiring vibrant or speciality inks, or colour matching specific Pantone values.

It can be used on a wide range of items- having fewer limitations on the material it works on.

Fast run times makes it speedy on bulk orders.

Good durability and washability.

CAN I HAVE MIXED SIZES IN ONE ORDER?

You can have mixed item sizes, as long as the print size remains the same across all the sizes.

If you need a different size print on smaller sizes, then it will incur and additional screen,(and charge) and may also be costed as a separate job in terms of the unit price applied to the number of smaller items.

CAN I PROVIDE MY OWN GARMENTS FOR PRINTING?

Not for screen printing but we can offer screen printed transfers as an option for this, and we would just need a spare garment to test before committing to the full order.

wHAT ARE THE TURNAROUND TIMES?

Standard lead times are between 10-15 working days + overnight delivery, from proof approval and payment stage, although this can vary during peak demand. If your requirements have a specific no fail deadline, we will always aim to accommodate that wherever possible.
